Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company is offering a Process Development Intern position in Nijmegen, Netherlands, for 6 months starting December/January 2027. You will work on process modelling, develop and validate mathematical/data models, and support digital capability development while reporting to the Process Design & Pilot Plant Manager.

You will collaborate with the D&EM R&D team, perform pilot plant trials, and present conclusions to senior stakeholders, gaining exposure to diverse internal channels

Qualifications

• Master’s level in food processing technology or chemical food/chemical related engineering.
• EU working rights required (citizenship, studies in NL, or valid student visa).
• Enrollment at a university for at least 50% study load during the internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate and simulate CFD/mathematical/data models for key unit operations.
• Generate data by pilot plant trials and evaluate unit operations.
• Share findings through presentations and final reports to stakeholders.
• Support development of new digital capabilities within the team.
