Job summary

g2 Recruitment partner is seeking a Process Engineer to join a Friesland-based manufacturing client on a permanent basis. Hybrid work option is available, with Start in Q4 2026 and salary of €4,000–€5,500 per month plus 8% bonus.

You will work on process flow diagrams, P&IDs, equipment selection and continuous improvement using AutoDesk. English and Dutch (conversational) are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in production environments and process engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in process engineering or similar is beneficial.
• Experience with process flow diagrams (PFDs) and P&IDs.
• Experience in food, beverage, dairy industries or similar is beneficial.
• English language and conversational Dutch essential.

Responsibilities

• Support processing of goods from start to finish.
• Develop and maintain PFDs and P&IDs.
• Select equipment and drive continuous improvement.

G2 are supporting a growing client in the Friesland region who are looking for a Process Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.

The client are expanding their engineering teams due to multiple projects being won over the last few months for long term work. They are an automated machine manufacturing company focusing specifically on projects for food and beverages.

You will be supporting the processing of goods from start to finish, working on process flow diagrams, P&IDs, equipment selection and continuous improvement using AutoDesk software. Ideally you have experience working within food or beverage production environments in previous roles.

PERMANENT ROLE - PROCESS ENGINEER - FRIESLAND REGION

Start: Q4 2026

Location: Friesland region - close to Leeuwarden. Hybrid working available

Salary: €4,000 - €5,500 per month + 8%

Essential Skills:

• Experience in process engineering within production environments
• Bachelor's degree in process engineering or similar is beneficial, but experience more important
• Background working on process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, continuous improvement and equipment selection
• Experience in the food, beverage, dairy industries or similar very beneficial
• English language and conversational Dutch essential

The client are growing quickly and have a large workload for at least the next 12 months, so there is strong long term progression and development opportunity with this role.
