Job summary

DSJ Global is representing a global food & beverage client in Amsterdam seeking a Project Engineer to manage electrical and automation projects on site. You will oversee upgrades, maintenance, and technical improvements to ensure safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence.

The role requires a technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or related field, 2–5 years’ experience in maintenance or project coordination, and fluency in Dutch with English proficiency.

• 2–5 years of experience in maintenance, engineering or project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and repairs.
• Oversee equipment upgrade and maintenance projects from concept through to completion.
• Drive technical improvements to support reliability and performance.

The company operates across multiple continents and specialises in food ingredients, serving manufacturers in confectionery, bakery, dairy, beverage, and consumer goods markets.

• Knowledge of electrical systems, automation, and maintenance practices.
• Fluent in Dutch, with a good level of English.
