Job summary

NH Conference Centre Koningshof is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead technical operations in one of the largest conference hotels in the Netherlands. With over 500 rooms, extensive meeting facilities and several restaurants, you will ensure all systems run safely, efficiently, and without disruption.

You will lead and coach the maintenance team, create schedules, coordinate repairs, manage electrical, mechanical, sanitary, HVAC and energy systems, and ensure rooms and public areas

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Manager or Head of Maintenance.
• Hospitality sector experience is a strong advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge (electrical, mechanical, HVAC, etc.).
• Proactive, solution‑oriented and action‑driven mindset.
• Comfortable supporting the team on the floor when needed.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and responsive to technical issues.
• Dutch language skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all technical operations within the hotel.
• Lead and coach the maintenance team.
• Create schedules and daily work planning.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities.
• Manage electrical, mechanical, sanitary, HVAC and energy systems.
• Ensure excellent condition of guest rooms and public areas.
• Coordinate external service partners for elevators, air conditioning, cooling and sprinkler systems.
• Plan preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Supervise renovations and technical projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, HACCP standards and legal requirements.
• Act quickly in case of malfunctions or emergencies.
