Job summary

The Social Hub in the Netherlands seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep our hotel running smoothly, working alongside the Maintenance Manager. You’ll handle day-to-day issues, preventative checks, and small renovations to ensure guests feel safe and cared for.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a similar maintenance role.
• Hands-on technical skills with practical approach.
• Calm under pressure and fast problem-solving.
• Independent worker who also collaborates well in a team.
• Fluent in local language.
• Guest-friendly and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day maintenance issues across the hotel, from plumbing and lighting to locks and small repairs.
• Perform daily walkarounds and keep indoor and outdoor areas clean, safe, and looking sharp.
• Carry out preventative maintenance checks to spot issues before they become problems.
• Tackle minor painting and cosmetic fixes when things need a refresh.
• Support and coordinate external contractors when specialist work is needed.
• Keep an eye on stock levels for tools, materials, and spare parts.
• Jump in on ad hoc tasks and support the Maintenance Manager when required.
