Job summary

Canpack Netherlands in Helmond is seeking a Printing Preparation Supervisor to organize and supervise all printing preparation activities for aluminium can production. You will ensure proper preparation of materials and plates for the offset printing process, leading a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Graphic Design or related field, strong leadership, prepress knowledge, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Graphic Design or related field.
• Management skills and knowledge of leadership principles.
• Knowledge of prepress.
• Basic maintenance skills.
• Knowledge of ISO standards, BRC and HACCP principles and health & safety regulations.
• Good command of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Supervising, coaching and motivating the printing and ink preparation employees.
• Driving performance of the employees, giving direction and feedback.
• Supervising the preparation of the printing materials for production (plates and inks).
• Creating daily planning for printing preparation.
• Storing, organising and operation of printing materials storage.
• Supervising and monitoring the department KPI’s (line efficiency, budget, downtime).

Position Overview:

As a Printing Preparation Supervisor, you are responsible to organize and supervise all printing preparation activities, to ensure the proper preparation of various materials and production of offset printing plates, for the printing process on aluminium cans.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising, coaching and motivating the printing and ink preparation employees
• Driving performance of the employees, giving direction and feedback
• Supervising the preparation of the printing materials for production (plates and inks)
• Creating daily planning for printing preparation
• Storing, organising and operation of printing materials storage
• Supervising and monitoring the department KPI’s (line efficiency, budget, downtime)

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of thinking in Graphic Design or a related field
• Management skills and knowledge of leadership principles
• Knowledge of prepress
• Basic maintenance skills
• Knowledge of ISO standards, BRC and HACCP principles and health & safetyregulations
• Good command of the English language
