Job Description

As Marine Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for guiding the engineering and design of critical marine systems supporting offshore production operations. You will ensure technical solutions are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project requirements, international standards, and operational objectives.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Leading the engineering and design activities for marine and utility systems on offshore production facilities.
• Managing technical deliverables, schedules, resources, and budgets within your discipline.
• Coordinating interfaces between engineering disciplines, vendors, subcontractors, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Reviewing and validating system designs, engineering calculations, process flow documentation, and technical studies.
• Supporting system integration, operability, maintainability, and lifecycle performance objectives.
• Driving technical decision-making and providing expert guidance throughout FEED, detailed design, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, class requirements, and company engineering standards.
• Identifying technical risks and contributing to safety and reliability assessments.
• Leading engineering reviews, design improvement initiatives, and lessons learned activities.
• Acting as a technical authority within the marine discipline and mentoring junior engineers where required.

Essential Qualifications and Education:

• At least 10 to 15 years in Oil & Gas Industry
• In-depth knowledge of marine regulations, standards, and guidelines, with the ability to interpret and translate them into practical solutions
• Strong expertise in marine electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to guide projects while ensuring quality, safety, and budget adherence
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
