NTT Global Data Centers is seeking a Senior Mechanical Solutions Engineer to be the mechanical engineering SME within the Global Solutions Engineering team, focusing on high-density and liquid-cooled data centers for hyperscale, cloud and enterprise customers.

Based in EMEA with travel across the region, you will translate complex requirements into practical designs and guide pre-sales from concept to engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Master’s degree is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the EMEA Mechanical SME and escalation point for technical interpretation and solution development.
• Lead mechanical solutioning for hyperscale, AI/HPC, and enterprise opportunities with emphasis on liquid cooling and high-density deployments.
• Translate RFPs and design criteria into mechanical concepts aligned with standards and site constraints.
• Develop schematic design concepts including P&IDs, layouts, piping concepts and operation intent.
• Prepare detailed schematic packages for construction teams to establish pricing and assess risks.
• Perform cooling load, water flow, heat exchanger duty, and pump head calculations.
• Define interfaces between liquid-cooling and base-building infrastructure including water quality and controls.
• Engage in customer workshops, technical dives, and executive presentations; communicate clearly to non-discipline audiences.
• Identify risks, constraints, assumptions and communicate impacts on capacity, resiliency, and cost.
• Support global projects with flexibility for meetings across regions.
