Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Principal or Senior Principal for its DTAS Global Strategic Advisory Consulting team. You will partner with life sciences clients, shaping high‑impact engagements and delivering value for VP+ stakeholders across strategy, data, and technology domains.

Based in Amsterdam, you will lead cross‑functional teams, drive revenue growth, and develop thought leadership while maintaining client satisfaction and long‑term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; graduate degree or MBA not required but advantageous.
• Minimum 12 years’ professional experience in consulting or the pharmaceutical/life sciences industry.
• Strong commitment to and experience within the life sciences and/or healthcare space.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, developing people, and delivering high‑impact client engagements.
• Proven ability to build lasting client relationships grounded in trust, partnership, and mutual value creation.
• Willingness and ability to travel to client locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration across Advisory Services and the broader DTAS ecosystem; design integrated, enterprise‑grade solutions.
• Own client engagements end‑to‑end, ensuring satisfaction, quality, and measurable value; identify new opportunities.
• Provide clear strategic direction and leadership across projects; shape actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to firm visibility through thought leadership and external engagement; support team development.
