Job summary

DEPT® is seeking a Principal Data Analyst to shape business and data strategy for clients, applying quantitative methods including analysis, data mining, predictive modeling, forecasting, and applied statistics. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to drive data-driven decisions and value creation.

You will bring 5+ years of analytics experience, strong SQL and Python/R skills, cloud platform exposure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and a practical, results-oriented

Qualifications

• 5+ years of applied analytics in marketing, product, engineering, sales, or finance.
• 5+ years of discovery and assessment of a client’s data portfolio, data tools, and data applications.
• 3+ years of data management and consulting experience.
• Strong working knowledge of SQL. NoSQL is a plus.
• Experience with languages for statistics and ML: Python, R, Matlab, SPSS.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with AI tools and LLMs; data-driven transformation of analytics.
• Experience managing data ecosystems including ETL, governance, reporting, and insights.
