Schneider Electric seeks a Project Quality Leader to own quality across international customer projects involving low- and medium-voltage power distribution for data centers and critical environments. The role collaborates with Project Managers, engineering teams, factories, suppliers and customers to embed quality from handover through delivery.

Dutch is preferred but not required; relocation to the Netherlands is expected.

Competenze

• Strong experience in Project Quality, Project Quality Assurance or Customer Project Quality within engineering/electrical environments.
• Experience supporting medium to large customer projects through execution and delivery.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, planning, control and inspection.
• Practical experience with non-conformity management, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Understanding of project management methodologies and quality impact on projects.
• Experience with multiple stakeholders including customers, engineering teams, factories and suppliers.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with independent decision-making.
• Ability to influence and challenge constructively while delivering for the customer.
• Electrical distribution, power systems, low/medium voltage background is advantageous.
• Professional fluency in English; Dutch is preferred but not required.

Your Mission

As Project Quality Leader, you will take ownership of quality across complex, international customer projects involving low- and medium-voltage power distribution solutions for data centers and other critical environments.

Working closely with Project Managers, engineering teams, factories, suppliers and customers, you will ensure quality is built into project execution from the start.

You will anticipate risks, challenge gaps, drive corrective actions and make sure every project is delivered in line with customer requirements and Schneider Electric quality standards.

This is a customer project execution role, not a production, Research and Development or logistics quality position.

Location

The position is based in the Netherlands and requires permanent relocation to the Netherlands. Candidates who are already based within the European Union or able to relocate from within the European Union are ideally positioned.

What You Will Do

• Own the Project Quality Plan and quality strategy from project handover through execution, commissioning and final delivery.
• Identify quality risks early and work with project teams to prevent issues before they impact the customer, schedule or project performance.
• Ensure customer, contractual and internal quality requirements are understood and embedded throughout project execution.
• Partner closely with Project Managers on complex low- and medium-voltage projects, bringing an independent quality perspective to key project decisions.
• Lead the management of non-conformities, root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions and quality improvement plans.
• Monitor project quality performance, identify trends and challenge teams where standards or customer requirements are at risk.
• Support and oversee quality activities around Factory Acceptance Tests, Site Acceptance Tests, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate quality topics across engineering teams, factories, suppliers, partners and customers.
• Act as a trusted quality contact for customers, confidently handling quality concerns and driving issues through to resolution.
• Lead quality reviews and provide expert guidance and coaching to project teams.

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who combines strong project quality expertise with a solid understanding of technical project execution. You know how complex engineering projects work and are comfortable challenging experienced Project Managers, engineers, suppliers and other stakeholders when quality is at risk.

You bring:

• Strong experience in Project Quality, Project Quality Assurance or Customer Project Quality within an engineering, electrical, power distribution or similarly complex technical environment.
• Experience supporting medium to large customer projects through execution and delivery.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, quality planning, quality control and inspection.
• Practical experience with non-conformity management, root-cause analysis, corrective actions and quality risk management.
• A good understanding of project management methodologies and the commercial and operational impact of quality issues.
• Experience working across multiple stakeholders, ideally including customers, engineering teams, factories and suppliers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to make independent decisions in complex situations.
• The ability to influence and challenge constructively without losing sight of project delivery or the customer.
• A technical or engineering background. Experience within electrical distribution, power systems, low voltage or medium voltage would be a strong advantage.
• Professional fluency in English. Dutch is preferred but not required.
