Job summary

NTS Drachten is looking for a CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our high-precision production team. You will operate modern 3- and 5-axis CNC machines, program and monitor quality, and collaborate with engineering to keep products manufacturable.

You’ll handle both volume production and challenging NPI projects with micron-level tolerances. You have a technical MBO level 3/4 education, experience with CNC operation and programming, and familiarity with CAD/CAM systems (TopSolid preferred).

Qualifications

A completed technical education at MBO level 3 or 4, preferably in Machining or Mechanical Engineering.
Demonstrable experience in the independent operation and/or programming of CNC machines.
Experience with CAD/CAM systems, preferably TopSolid.
Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
Willingness to work two shifts (6:00 AM–2:30 PM and 2:15 PM–11:00 PM).

Responsibilities

Independently set up, operate, and optimize modern CNC machines.
Programming of complex products in CAM software, preferably TopSolid.
Monitoring the quality of your own work in accordance with strict tolerances.
Preparing setups and checking tools, products, and materials from drawings and instructions.
Manufacturing unique, ultra-precise products, mostly single pieces.
