Job summary

NTS Group is seeking a skilled CNC Miller in Drachten to operate and program high-precision 5-axis machines. You will work on Yasda, Kern, and Mikron with Heidenhain and Fanuc controls, programming in TopSolid 7 or at the control.

You’ll set up fixtures, inspect tools, and ensure tight tolerances on exotic materials like titanium and stainless steel. Two shifts with a compact team create a focused, hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education in machining or mechanical engineering (MBO 3/4).
• Demonstrable experience programming and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Experience with CAM programming, preferably TopSolid; and Heidenhain or Fanuc controls.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and optimize 5-axis CNC milling machines (Yasda, Kern, Mikron).
• Program independently in TopSolid 7 or at the control.
• Prepare fixtures and check tools, products, and materials from drawings.
• Mill compact pieces to ~4 micron accuracy and check quality.
