Job summary

Applied Microelectronics AME is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to produce high-precision components and tooling in a modern, multidisciplinary environment in Brainport Eindhoven. You will operate and set up machines, interpret drawings, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

Candidates should have MBO-level vocational training or equivalent, exposure to CNC operations (milling, grinding), and strong attention to detail. English proficiency is required for collaboration in an international team.

Qualifications

• MBO-level vocational education or equivalent.
• Experience with CNC machining, milling, grinding, or drilling.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Accurate and quality-focused with good attention to detail.
• Willing to work with different machining technologies.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machines, including 5-axis milling, EDM, Wire EDM, and precision grinding.
• Read and interpret technical drawings with dimensions, shapes and tolerances.
• Prepare machines, tools, and programs for production.
• Check machined parts against specs and quality standards.
• Identify when CNC program adjustments are needed and discuss with CAM programmer.
• Perform daily maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of machining processes.
