Job summary

Vectra AI is seeking a Security Engineer (Pre-Sales) to blend technical expertise with consultative selling. You will help customers understand, evaluate, and adopt the Vectra AI Platform, working with regional sales teams and channel partners to solve complex cybersecurity challenges.

You will deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and PoV engagements, and design architectures that meet security objectives. The role requires strong communication skills and travel within the region.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in security engineering or sales engineering.
Experience supporting enterprise engagements.
Strong consultative and customer-first mindset with excellent presentation skills.
Ability to communicate with technical practitioners, security leadership and executives.
Comfortable leading technical discussions from discovery to validation.
Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

Partner with Regional Sales Managers throughout the sales cycle as the trusted technical advisor.
Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer requirements and security challenges.
Deliver compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and PoV engagements.
Design and recommend solution architectures aligned with customer environments and security objectives.
Translate technical capabilities into measurable customer value and business outcomes.
Build and maintain trusted technical relationships with customers, channel partners, and distributors.
Travel within the assigned region as required.
