Job summary

PwC Amsterdam is seeking an Associate for the Delivering Deal Value team to analyze financial impacts of operational and organisational changes during transactions. You will research targets, build financial models, and quantify carve-out and synergy effects to inform investment decisions.

You will work closely with management, be exposed to senior stakeholders from day one, and participate in training programs within PwC's European network.

Qualifications

• Strong financial acumen and numeracy with the ability to read financial statements and translate operational decisions into metrics.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to build clear, structured models from scratch.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Dutch language proficiency is highly appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Research companies, sectors and benchmarks to build the fact base for the team.
• Analyze a target's core operations and translate findings into financial consequences.
• Build clear Excel models that size operational costs, risks and upsides.
• Support carve-out and synergy analyses by quantifying costs, one-offs and potential synergies.
• Prepare databooks, analyses and slides and join client meetings with senior stakeholders.
