Job summary

PwC Amsterdam is seeking an Associate to join the Delivering Deal Value team, providing analytical support on pre-deal value creation projects. You will research targets, analyze operations and financials, and build models quantifying costs, risks and potential synergies.

You’ll engage with senior stakeholders from day one and contribute to client deliverables. Ideal candidates have a Master’s in a quantitative field, 0–2 years of experience, and fluent English with Dutch language skills highly

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related quantitative field.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience; internships are a plus.
• Fluent in English; professional Dutch is highly appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Research target companies, sectors and benchmarks to build the fact base.
• Analyse target operations and translate findings into financial impact.
• Build clear Excel models sizing costs, risks and upsides.
• Quantify separation costs, one-offs and potential synergies for carve-out and deals.
• Prepare databooks, analyses and slides; participate in client and management meetings.
