Job summary

PwC Nederland's Delivering Deal Value team is seeking an Associate to join value creation projects pre-deal. You will research the target and its market, analyze operations and finance, and translate findings into numbers that support the investment decision.

You will build clear Excel models to size costs, capex, and potential synergies, support carve-out analyses, and participate in client and management meetings from day one.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related quantitative discipline.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience; internship in deals, corporate finance, consulting, audit or related team is a plus.
• Fluent in English; professional level of Dutch appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Research target and market to build the fact base for the team.
• Analyse target's core operations and translate findings into financial consequences.
• Build clear, structured Excel models that size operational costs, risks and upsides.
• Support carve-out and synergy analyses by quantifying separation costs, one-offs, stranded costs and potential synergies.
• Prepare databooks, analyses, report sections and slides for client and management meetings.
