Job summary

PwC South Africa in the Netherlands is seeking a senior professional for the Delivering Deal Value team. You will lead multiple pre-deal engagements, own client relationships from scoping to final delivery, and translate complex analyses into clear answers for deal teams and CFOs.

You bring deep financial acumen, core domain expertise, and a track record of guiding engagement teams while expanding scope and building a strong deal network.

Qualifications

• Deep financial acumen demonstrated by interrogating financials and defending numbers.
• Functional depth in at least one core operational domain (Finance, Supply Chain, Working Capital, Procurement, Manufacturing or Commercial).
• Commercial acumen with ability to extend scope and maintain client relationships with PE deal teams and advisors.
• End-to-end M&A credentials across deal cycle and integration/ carve-out contexts.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in deals advisory, performance improvement or senior operations.
• University degree in a related discipline; excellent written and spoken English.
• Dutch language skills are highly appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple pre-deal engagements in parallel, ensuring scope, approach, quality and delivery.
• Serve as the client's main contact, translating analyses into clear answers for deal teams and CFOs.
• Collaborate with Partners and Directors, keeping them informed and engaged.
• Bring depth in core operational functions and be the go-to person for those topics.
• Review team work, challenge assumptions and defend conclusions.
• Spot opportunities to extend scope and convert into new engagements.
• Build and nurture your market network to stay close to deal flow.
• Coach Associates, Senior Associates and Managers to raise analytical standards.
