Job summary

ASML in the Netherlands is looking for an electrical connectivity design engineer in power electronics to turn complex electrical concepts into reliable solutions for our advanced lithography systems. You will design the electrical infrastructure that connects powers our machines, including cables, racks, cabinets and interconnection boards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or equivalent field.
• At least three years in electrical connectivity design or related electrical design role.
• Experience in power electronics.
• Experience completing at least one full design cycle for a complex high-tech product.
• Knowledge of electrical module design including cables, racks and interconnection boards.
• Broad understanding of electronics interfacing with physics, mechanics, mechatronics and software.
• Experience as a technical leader in multidisciplinary design teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain electrical connectivity designs for modules and cabinets.
• Translate requirements into robust solutions with architects and integration teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Improve design quality by addressing risks and ensuring safety and EMC standards.
• Support prototype builds, product qualification and supplier execution.
• Contribute to power electronics, PCB assemblies, firmware, integration or test equipment as needed.
• Share knowledge with manufacturing and service engineers and coach colleagues.
