Job summary

ALTEN Nederland is seeking an Electromechanical Engineer to join a high‑precision semiconductor equipment environment. You will design, develop, and integrate complex electromechanical modules, translating requirements into manufacturable solutions.

The role supports hybrid working and offers a permanent contract with strong ownership of architectural decisions. The candidate should bring a solid electrical/mechanical foundation, CAD proficiency, and experience across full development cycles.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and relevant simulation software.
• Experience with design for manufacturing and full development cycles.
• Ability to challenge requirements and propose improvements; hands-on problem solving during prototype integration.
• Clear communication skills and ability to work across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine electromechanical concepts and translate requirements into manufacturable designs.
• Create and review CAD models, assemblies, and supporting documentation.
• Diagnose and solve technical issues during prototype build and integration.
• Contribute to design architecture, tolerance analysis, and CE‑compliant documentation.
• Prepare and maintain design requirements, decisions, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support project planning and work breakdown structures.
• Present design progress and provide technical guidance within the team.
