Job summary

ASML in the Netherlands seeks a Senior Electrostatics and High-Voltage Specialist to advance product development. You will be the company-wide expert enabling high-voltage concepts from early design through implementation and issue resolution.

You will build consensus across disciplines, lead feasibility studies, and develop engineering guidelines. Fluency in English and a strong physics background are essential, with 10+ years in electrostatics and HV design.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in electrostatics and high-voltage development.
• Experience designing for ambient to deep vacuum pressure environments.
• Experience designing and performing experiments to close knowledge gaps.
• Proficiency in FEM-based field analysis.
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Concept development and feasibility studies for new HV concepts.
• Design and review HV designs and PCB/hardware modules for environments from ambient to deep vacuum.
• Support colleagues in research, design, and issue-resolution activities by applying knowledge or connecting experts.
• Perform root-cause analysis using models, circuit analysis, and measurements.
• Develop ASML-specific HV design rules, engineering guidelines, and technical requirements where standards fall short.
• Share knowledge through training to support colleague growth.
