Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) invites applications for a 3-year, full-time researcher position within the RESILIENT-FLOWS project on hybrid urban water innovations. Qualifications

• PhD in Industrial Ecology, Sustainability Sciences, Technology Assessment, or a related field.
• Proven experience with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
• Excellent English communication and scientific writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary, international teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate stakeholder engagement activities (interviews, workshops).
• Analyze how values like resilience and sustainability influence technology assessment.
• Apply ex-ante Life Cycle Assessment methodologies to emerging water infrastructure solutions.
• Support integration of stakeholder insights into assessment and decision-support frameworks.
• Publish research findings in leading journals and present at conferences.
• Collaborate with European partners across RESILIENT-FLOWS.
