TU Delft, located in Delft, Netherlands, seeks a Postdoc to study sustainability and responsible innovation for climate-resilient water systems. The role spans stakeholder engagement and ex-ante LCA within RESILIENT-FLOWS, collaborating with European partners to influence decision-support tools.

You will work with researchers across nature-based solutions, water treatment technologies, and digital twins, contributing to policy-relevant outcomes and high-impact publications.

Competenze

• PhD in Industrial Ecology, Sustainability Sciences, Technology Assessment, or related field.
• Proven experience with Life Cycle Assessment.
• Proven experience with qualitative data gathering methods, such as interviewing and focus groups.
• Interest in Urban Water Systems and Nature Based Solutions.
• Ability to analyze both qualitative and quantitative data.
• Excellent communication and scientific writing skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating in interdisciplinary and international teams.
• Excellent command of English.

• Design and coordinate stakeholder engagement activities (e.g., interviews, workshops).
• Analyze how resilience and sustainability can be integrated in technology assessment and decision-making.
• Apply ex-ante Life Cycle Assessment methodologies for emerging water infrastructure solutions.
