Job summary

Amsterdam UMC in the Bone and Calcium Research group seeks a postdoctoral researcher for the OIMPACT project, exploring osteogenesis imperfecta, bone remodelling and calcium-related mechanisms. The role uses human bone cells and explants with organ-on-chip, imaging and proteomics to study osteoclast/osteoblast behaviour and fracture healing.

The appointment is full-time, initially 12 months with an intended extension to 24 months, and requires a PhD in a related biomedical field.

Qualifications

• PhD in biomedical sciences, bioengineering, molecular medicine or related field.
• Advanced cell culture experience with primary human cells.
• Experience with bone explants, bone biology, remodelling or organ-on-chip is advantageous.
