Job summary

Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) invites a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the UI-PRIG project within the HTI group. The role blends Human–AI Interaction, Generative AI, and behavioural research to improve risk communication in online gambling.

You will develop two open‑source tools KanScan and KanLab, conduct various user studies, and contribute to publications and practical recommendations for regulators and health professionals.

Qualifications

• PhD (completed or close to completion) in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated research output and peer-reviewed publications.
• Strong programming skills and experience building interactive systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct user studies (cognitive walkthroughs, interviews, co-design workshops).
• Develop KanScan and KanLab tools using Python and web components.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data and translate findings into design recommendations.
