Job summary

AkzoNobel in Amsterdam is seeking a Project Officer to support project, programme and portfolio managers, ensuring delivery on time, budget and quality. You will coordinate administration, monitor progress, and deliver insightful reporting across multiple initiatives, building strong relationships with stakeholders and enabling continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s degree or higher, experience coordinating projects in international settings, and knowledge of Agile/Scrum, PM

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or higher.
Experience coordinating projects within an international or multicultural environment.
Experience in a Project Coordinator or PMO role.
Familiarity with project management tools and reporting processes.
Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum or Portfolio Management.
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

Coordinate project administration across multiple initiatives and stakeholders.
Monitor progress, costs, quality and timelines; identify risks and support decision-making.
Produce insightful reporting and status updates for project teams and stakeholders.
Help maintain project governance, reporting standards and processes for consistency.
Analyse portfolio performance and communicate updates, dependencies and issues.
