Job summary
Reintjessystems in the Netherlands seeks a PLC Engineer to design, program, test and implement PLC control systems for our machines and production lines. You’ll work with engineers and technicians to deliver customized solutions meeting customer requirements, from concept to commissioning.
Key duties include on-site commissioning, debugging PLC programs (Siemens Step 7, TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley RSLogix), and collaborating with mechanical, electrical and automation teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (Electrical/Industrial Automation/Mechanical).
- Experience with PLC programming and on-site commissioning.
- Knowledge of industrial protocols (Profibus/Profinet/Ethernet/IP).
- Willingness to travel to customer sites for commissioning and support.
Responsibilities
- Design and program PLC control systems for industrial machinery and production lines.
- Analyze and interpret technical specifications and customer requirements.
- Test and debug PLC programs to ensure reliability.
- Perform on-site commissioning at customer sites and provide technical support.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical and automation teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Document technical specifications, designs and modifications to required standards.
