Tribe Engineering seeks a PLC Engineer to independently develop, test and commission industrial automation software. You will design PLC programs, configure HMI interfaces and integrate systems with drives, sensors and networks.

Travel for commissioning at customer sites in the Netherlands and abroad is part of the role; you will collaborate with electrical engineers and project teams and maintain documentation throughout the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Completed technical education at MBO level 4 or HBO level in Industrial Automation or related discipline.
• Approximately 3+ years of PLC or industrial automation experience.
• Experience developing PLC software in Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT or comparable platforms.
• Understanding of structured programming and control logic; experience with HMI.
• Familiarity with PROFINET/PROFIBUS/EtherCAT/Modbus.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical descriptions.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsabilités

• Independently develop, test and commission industrial automation software.
• Design, develop and modify PLC software for machines and installations.
• Translate specs into structured control software and configure HMI interfaces.
• Integrate PLC systems with drives, sensors and networks.
• Troubleshoot faults and perform FAT/SAT testing.
• Support commissioning and start-up at customer sites.
