Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience in complex IT infrastructure and enterprise architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems; storage, backup, DR and cyber security.
• Experience with on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments in regulated sectors.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and ability to convey complex concepts.

• Develop and maintain the architecture blueprint for platform services.
• Guide decisions related to Linux, Windows, storage, backup and recovery.
• Shape strategies for disaster recovery, cyber resilience and data protection.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and cross-functional teams for consistency.
• Lead development of technical roadmaps and communicate vision to stakeholders.
• Advise engineering, security and senior management on infrastructure challenges.
• Identify opportunities to standardize and modernize platform services.
• Co-lead the Platform Services area alongside senior leaders.

• Collaborate closely with Solution Architects and cross-functional teams to ensure architectural -consistency and best practices.
• Lead the development of technical roadmaps and communicate architectural vision to stakeholders across the organization.
• Act as a trusted advisor for engineering, security, and senior management on complex infrastructure challenges.
• Identify opportunities to standardize, improve, and modernize platform services for better efficiency and security.
• Co-lead the Platform Services area alongside senior leaders and provide guidance to technical teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience working in complex IT infrastructure environments, with a focus on enterprise architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Deep understanding of storage, backup, disaster recovery, and cyber security strategies.
• Experience with on-premise, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborative and pragmatic approach to architecture and problem-solving.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is essential.
• Experience within regulated sectors, like financial services, is highly advantageous.
