As a preferred supplier to one of our biggest FinancialClient, I am seeking for a Enterprise Architect for a position in Amstelveen, Netherlands.
Responsibilities
Architecture Strategy & Standards: Develop, maintain, technical architecture artifacts like standards, guidelines related to platforms, infrastructure, and foundational technology services. Translate strategic objectives into clear, practical architecture principles, patterns, and guidelines. Drive alignment between platform strategy, enterprise architecture, and technology roadmaps. Monitor technology trends and evaluate their relevance to the bank’s hybrid platforms environment.
Platform Strategy & Road mapping: Support platform teams in designing services and capabilities that meet business and regulatory requirements. Ensure platform designs are aligned with enterprise principles, security standards, and regulatory expectations.
Architecture Governance & Control: Review solution designs to ensure compliance with architecture standards and platform strategy. Identify and manage architecture deviations, assess risks, and recommend mitigation or remediation paths. Contribute to the design authority processes and architecture forums.
Collaboration & Thought Partnership: Serve as a trusted sparring partner to the Lead Domain Architect, supporting strategic planning and decision-making. Collaborate with peer domain architects, platform owners, security teams, and engineering leads to drive architectural coherence. Facilitate knowledge sharing and foster a culture of architectural excellence

Must-Have Expertise
You are a comfortable communicator, know how to drive decision making and how to find a balance between abstract architectural discussions and concrete direction setting.
You can think conceptual and have a good practical knowledge regarding standards, have practical knowledge of Public and Private cloud like Azure or VMware and Mainframe
You have knowledge of security concepts related to network based on Cisco, Cisco ACI and Azure Technologies.
You have experience with design and interoperability of overlays like Cisco ACI, VMware NSX-T, Calico (e.g., routing, firewalls, load balancers).
You have good documentation skills using MS Office, PowerPoint, Togaf and Archimate (network diagrams, test plans/results, configuration guides, design documentation).
You have a drive to improve our environments, know the DevOps & Agile way of working. You have experience with scripting languages and automation tools is a plus.
