Job summary

Avular in Eindhoven is seeking a hands-on Platform Engineer to own the software factory behind our robotics platform. You will manage CI/CD pipelines, self-hosted build runners, package registries and SBOM/cve tooling, ensuring builds stay green and releases are reproducible.

You will streamline automation, monitor pipeline health, and contribute to security and compliance efforts while maintaining our Linux-based infrastructure and developer services.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Up to 7–10 years in a platform, build & release, DevOps or developer-productivity role.
• Strong Linux (Ubuntu) administration.
• Hands-on with CI/CD systems and build pipelines (GitHub Actions is a plus).
• Scripting and automation skills (Bash, YAML, Python or PowerShell).
• Familiarity with package registries and artefact management; SBOM/CVE awareness.
• Proactive ownership mindset; good English; Dutch a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing and monitoring self-hosted CI runners; keeping GitHub Actions pipelines healthy.
• Keeping nightly builds green; triaging failures and regressions.
• Improving build times, pipeline reliability and toolchain performance.
• Automating repetitive developer and release tasks to speed shipping.
• Running package registries and artefact hosting; versioned releases.
• Owning SBOM generation/storage and CVE monitoring across the supply chain.
• Supporting compliance efforts around CRA, NIS2 and ISO 27001.
• Maintaining Linux servers and internal developer services.
