Job summary

Qabird is seeking an implementation-minded professional to run improvement projects on live plants across the Netherlands, Germany and Western Europe. You will decompose frustrations into measurable actions, design the smallest viable interventions, and ensure data proves the impact.

You will work on the shop floor with operators, shift leaders and engineers, translating insights into standard work so gains persist after you leave. This is hands-on, customer-facing work, not software development.

Qualifications

Hands-on shop-floor experience delivering end-to-end improvements.
Proven ability to define problems, plans and measurements.
Experience getting operators to adopt new ways of working.
Ability to model data from industrial systems to form defensible hypotheses.
Comfort with industrial data systems and software configuration.

Responsibilities

Find the problem worth solving by talking to operators and engineers.
Build the hypothesis using machine data and observations.
Design a ten-week Proof of Value with defined measurements and pass/fail criteria.
Gain operator buy-in and keep on the plant floor until it becomes routine.
Gather real production data to validate conclusions.
Propose improvements in production terms and euros (downtime, scrap, yield).
Lock the improvement into updated standard work and SOPs inside the platform.
Repeat the cycle across more sites and lines.
