Job summary

Restart BV is seeking a medior Planner for the Offshore Division, specializing in tenders. You will join a core tender team, collaborate with a Cost Estimator and Tender Engineer, and develop tender offers using the Master Time Schedule and ITT guidelines.

The role requires strong planning skills and familiarity with vessel scheduling tools. Expect to work across cables and heavy-lift projects, with at least 3 days per week in the office in the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of planning or tender planning experience.
• Primavera P6 experience is essential.
• Cables industry experience preferred; offshore wind is a plus.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Fluent understanding of UK English

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Cost Estimator and Tender Engineer to prepare tender offers.
• Set up tender offers using the Master Time Schedule and ITT from the client.
• Develop well-considered tender offers taking constraints and weather into account.
• Use Time/Distance Diagram and other tools to track vessel location and availability.
• Ensure progress and quality of projects and tenders through effective data usage.

Short description of the request;

Due to some switches in personnel capacity and the increase of workload we are in search of a Planner (medior level) with 3-5 years of work experience

The Planner will work in the Offshore Division where a variety of Cables and Heavy Lift projects are supported by the Global Engineering department

Day to Day Business as a Planner;

You start your day with a cup of coffee and an informal chat with your colleagues before you start working on your Tenders. Together with the Cost Estimator and Tender Engineer, you form the core of a dynamic tender team. You work together to set up the Tender offer, using the Master Time Schedule and ITT (Invitation to Tender) from the client as guidelines.

With support from the Productions and Workability Desk, you will develop a well-considered and feasible tender offer, carefully taking into account constraints, Liquidated Damages and weather conditions

During lunch, you will enjoy a good meal and maybe take a short walk in the area to clear your head. To get a complete picture of operational capabilities, you use a Time/Distance Diagram, among other things, to keep track of vessel location and availability. This helps to make realistic estimates and optimize planning. Every day is a challenge, but your role is essential in ensuring the progress and success of both projects and tenders. Through effective collaboration and use of available data and tools, you will contribute to delivering top quality to our clients.

What are your skills;

• Good knowledge of Primavera P6 (Plug and Play)


• Experience in Cables Industrie (preferred) / Offshore Wind (second best)


• No Cables / Offshore Industrie experience? Compensate by loads of planning experience and we will teach the Offshore Industrie part


• Fluent understanding of UK language (not necessary to speak NLD)
