Job summary

The University of Amsterdam invites applications for a four-year PhD position within the ERC Aquiverse project on Groundwater Care and the Politics of Transformation in Peru. You will conduct ethnographic study and hydro-geological or institutional analyses to understand groundwater governance and transformation processes.

Successful candidates hold a Research Master’s degree and have ethnographic research experience; familiarity with agrarian Peru and interest in hydrogeology are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ethnographic fieldwork within Peru and Peru related communities.
