Patagonia is seeking an Interim Performance Marketing Lead for the EMEA region, based in Amsterdam. You will provide strategic oversight across Paid Search, Organic Search, Paid Social, and Affiliate channels to drive ecommerce growth.
You will coordinate channel insights, align with commercial priorities and brand values, oversee budget optimization, performance analysis, and reporting, and partner with the Onsite Performance Analyst and ECom Trade Manager.
Patagonia is an outdoor apparel company founded in 1973. At a time when all life on earth is under threat of extinction, we aim to use the resources we have-our business, our investments, our voice and our imagination-to influence changes needed to protect our planet. A registered B Corporation and founding member of 1% for the Planet, Patagonia is recognised internationally for its commitment to product quality and environmental activism, contributing over $145 million in grants and in-kind donations to thousands of grassroots environmental groups around the world.
We're in business to save our home planet. The Interim Performance Marketing Lead is responsible for providing strategic oversight across Patagonia EMEA's performance marketing ecosystem, including Paid Search, Organic Search, Paid Social, and Affiliate channels.
This role serves as the central point of coordination for performance marketing, bringing together channel insights, business priorities, and commercial objectives to drive eCommerce growth. Through data-driven analysis and cross-channel planning, the role identifies opportunities to improve performance, optimises investment across channels, and recommends actions to reach traffic, revenue, and marketing efficiency goals. As Patagonia EMEA's subject matter expert in performance marketing, the role ensures that channel decisions are made from a holistic business perspective and in alignment with Patagonia brand values.
Maintain a holistic view of channel performance and identify opportunities to improve traffic, conversion, revenue, and marketing efficiency. Ensure performance marketing priorities and channel plans are aligned with Patagonia brand values, commercial objectives and marketing priorities.
Oversee performance marketing investments across channels: evaluate channel contribution and recommend budget allocation, prioritization, and investment shifts based on business performance, commercial priorities, and market conditions. Support forecasting and planning processes through scenario modelling, performance analysis, and investment recommendations.
Monitor and analyze performance across Paid Search, Organic Search, Paid Social, and Affiliate channels using analytics platforms, dashboards, and reporting tools. Identify key performance drivers, risks, and growth opportunities, translating insights into actionable recommendations. Collaborate closely with the Onsite Performance Analyst and eCom Trade Manager to align on trends, challenges and opportunities.
Consolidate channel performance into clear, actionable business updates for eCommerce, Marketing, and leadership stakeholders. Translate complex performance data into concise insights, highlighting trends, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
Serve as the primary point of support for channel specialists and as primary performance marketing partner for the eCommerce business. Contribute to trading discussions, forecasting and commercial reviews. Collaborate with the Brand Digital team to ensure that all performance marketing initiatives are aligned with Patagonia brand values.
