It ensures robust financial stewardship and compliance, while enabling responsible growth, business efficiency and resilience, positive customer experience, and reduction of our footprint through technology and infrastructure, supply chain, and operational delivery.

As a member of the EMEA Leadership Team, this role transcends functional strategist responsibilities to collaborate with the ELT on leading Patagonia EMEA. This role is accountable for co-building high level strategy with the ELT, translating strategy into executional plans and implementing them with key stakeholders, taking decisions for Patagonia EMEA that have long-term impact, and shaping culture and organizational success.

Main tasks:
  • Finance & Operations organization: build the EMEA Finance and Operations organization, managing resources and shaping culture and ways of working for innovation, co-creation and cross-functional collaboration, scalability, and nimbleness. Lead, manage, and develop an engaged and high-performing team through clear priorities and goals, feedback, and regular coaching and mentoring, to nurture leadership, enable professional development, drive clear accountability, and deliver objectives.
  • Business enablement and operational delivery: shape the strategy and agenda for Finance and Operations functions in EMEA and lead their execution to ensure business enablement, support of commercial and product activities, operational resilience. Ensure our region has the operational foundations, business infrastructure, capabilities, systems, and governance needed to deliver our business. Drive operational delivery by identifying opportunities to simplify, improve, and connect ways of working across functions, balancing efficiency and effectiveness with customer experience and brand values.
  • Financial health: lead financial planning, with full responsibility for budgets, forecasts, and cost management. Drive a strong culture of accountability and disciplined financial stewardship, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and performance are actively managed against targets, with risks and opportunities clearly identified and addressed. Act as a strategic partner to the GM on overall P&L performance, contributing data-driven insights, scenario planning, and recommendations to inform decisions and optimize business outcomes to deliver growth, revenue, margin, and profitability targets in line with Global expectations and long-term business health.
  • Supply chain: oversee supply chain strategy and ensure warehousing, distribution, and logistics operations support efficient inventory flow, product fulfilment, strong customer service levels, costs optimization, footprint reduction, supply chain risks mitigation, and compliance with local trade and customs regulations. Collaborate with Global Supply Chain team on an on-going basis and leverage global capabilities for EMEA markets, where appropriate.
  • Technology & infrastructure: oversee IT strategy and digital infrastructure, ensuring robust, scalable, and fit for purpose systems and tools support our security, resilience, business operations, and integration with global systems and platforms, enabling our business.
  • Project Management Office (PMO):Oversee project portfolio governance, ensuring yearly cross-functional initiatives are collected, vetted and projects are planned, prioritized, and executed in alignment with EMEA business priorities while improving consistent project management standards, visibility, collaboration, and delivery cross-functionally in a nimble, engaging and effective way
  • Collaboration: act as a key liaison between the EMEA team and global HQ teams (U.S.), sharing best practices, ensuring regional needs are represented, and facilitating alignment as needed. Collaborate across the EMEA Leadership Team to work towards the region's goals and priorities.
  • EMEA Leadership Team: actively participate in the EMEA leadership team, shaping the long term EMEA strategy and vision for the future, fostering cross-functional alignment and collaboration, and driving key business decisions to support responsible business, financial health, culture, and organizational priorities.

  • Advanced collaboration and co-creation mindset and skills
  • Advanced ability to navigate disagreements and facilitate convergence and decision-making
