Job summary

Picnic is hiring a People Partner embedded in the action, driving organizational strategy from talent development to scaling team structures. You will partner with business units across our Amsterdam hub and other European locations to lead end-to-end people initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years in HR advisory or business partnering, exceptional communication, and a passion for coaching teams and leaders. English fluency required; Dutch/French/German a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Project management and operations experience with cross-functional collaboration.
• Driven to challenge convention and reinvent how work is done.
• Coaching and developing teams across organizational levels.
• Fluency in English; Dutch/French/German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive performance and talent across your team with regular check-ins, bi-annual reviews, and calibrations.
• Be a trusted advisor to the leadership team, enhancing leadership effectiveness.
• Manage staffing and talent to ensure the right people in the right roles at growth stages.
• Lead people-related initiatives using data-driven insights to guide decisions.
• Design and refine core people programs—onboarding, learning & development, rotation processes.
• Partner with business leaders to cultivate an effective leadership pipeline.
• Handle administrative tasks around development agreements, contracts, and compensation.
