Innatera is a Dutch semiconductor innovator seeking a People Operations & Engagement Specialist to enhance employee experience across onsite and remote teams. You will own onboarding, communications, events, and lifecycle processes while driving improvements in HR systems and documentation.

The role focuses on people-centric operations within a growing, international environment, with a hybrid work model and strong emphasis on compliance, data protection, and employee wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Around 3-5 years of relevant People Operations / HR experience, ideally within an international, growing organisation.
• Fluent English and clear, approachable communication style.
• Strong ownership mentality: identify needs and follow through.
• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and good judgement.
• Practical experience with Dutch employee lifecycle, HR documentation and administration.
• Detail-oriented; contracts, payroll inputs and data accuracy.
• Willingness to improve processes and use HR systems effectively.

Responsibilities

• Build a consistent employee experience across onsite and remote staff.
• Coordinate recurring employee engagement activities and initiatives.
• Own internal People communications to keep staff informed and connected.
• Coordinate company events, team-building, recognition and wellbeing activities.
• Gather employee feedback and translate themes into improvements.
• Identify friction points across the employee journey and improve them.
• Manage onboarding, changes, benefits, absence and offboarding.
• Prepare and maintain employment contracts, letters and personnel records.
• Support payroll changes and liaise with Finance and external providers.
• Coordinate benefits, pension, commuting and other programmes.
• Coordinate immigration, relocation and 30% ruling processes.
• Support administration for remote employees and EOR arrangements.
• Act as first point of contact for employee questions.
• Maintain accurate employee data across systems and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Dutch employment requirements and data protection.
