Job summary

SITS | Traxion is seeking a People Operations Intern to support our People & Culture team with hands-on HR activities, onboarding, employee administration and process improvements. You will join an international cybersecurity organization and work on meaningful HR projects while gaining practical experience.

You will interact with stakeholders, contribute to ongoing HR initiatives, and learn how HR supports employees and business success in a global context.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a relevant MBO+/HBO degree in HRM, Legal, Insurance & HR Services, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proactive and eager to gain hands-on experience within HR Operations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Engage in practical daily HR activities and assignments.
• Receive mentorship and work towards defined learning goals.
• Contribute ideas to improve HR processes and workflows.
• Develop communication, organizational, planning and stakeholder management skills.

Job description

As a People Operations Intern at SITS | Traxion, you will support our People & Culture team with relevant and impactful assignments in the field of Human Resources.

THE INTERNSHIP PROJECT: SUPPORTING PEOPLE OPERATIONS IN AN INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION

At SITS | Traxion, our People & Culture team plays a key role in creating a smooth and engaging employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle.

In this internship, you will become a fully integrated member of our People & Culture team, with a primary focus on People Operations. You will gain hands‑on experience with a broad range of operational HR activities, including onboarding, employee administration, HR processes, employee support, and process improvement initiatives. Depending on your interests, learning objectives, and educational requirements, you can also contribute to HR projects and employee engagement initiatives.

With this assignment, you will directly contribute to the quality and continuity of our HR operations while gaining valuable practical insights into how People Team supports both employees and business success within an international cybersecurity organization.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

• Is pursuing a relevant MBO+ or HBO degree, such as HRM, Legal, Insurance & HR Services, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Is proactive and eager to gain hands‑on experience within HR Operations.
• Communicates effectively and enjoys interacting with different stakeholders.
• Works accurately and handles confidential information with care and attention to detail.
• Speaks fluent Dutch and optionally English.
• Is currently located in the Netherlands and available to work from the office multiple days per week.
