Job summary

Nmbrs Accounting in Rotterdam is seeking a Software Development Manager to coach a diverse team of 10–15 engineers. You’ll mentor individuals, remove friction, and promote AI-driven development across the group.

Reporting to the CTO, you’ll balance strategy with execution, ensuring the engineering engine runs smoothly while cultivating an open, high-performing culture. Fluency in English and Dutch is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience mentoring and managing people in diverse technical roles.
• Strong grasp of the .NET ecosystem and front-end frameworks.
• Conceptual understanding of AWS and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Proficient English, with Dutch language skills.
• Willingness to coach and develop engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Mentor & manage performance for a group of 10–15 engineers, tailoring coaching per role.
• Optimize Developer Experience by refining engineering processes and removing friction.
• Act as AI evangelist, promoting modern AI tools and coding approaches.
• Bridge strategy and execution across teams to keep roadmaps aligned.
• Build visibility and internal brand for engineers through effective communication.
