Job summary

Fastned is seeking a proactive Working Student in Amsterdam to support our Payroll Team with data analytics and automation initiatives. You will help streamline payroll and accounting operations across our growing European network, contributing to data flows, AI agent development, and monthly reconciliations.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s in Business, Data Analytics, or Information Systems, with strong Excel skills and an interest in SQL, Power BI, and process automation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Analytical Skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day payroll and accounting operations.
• Assist in data automation projects to optimize workflows.
• Contribute to automation projects and AI agent development for payroll queries.
• Consolidate working student hours into a unified Netherlands payroll report.
• Prepare monthly payroll balance sheet reconciliation accounts.
