Job summary

Philips is seeking a Systems Engineer for Pathology Scanners to develop and maintain scanner solutions within the DCP portfolio. You will work across design, integration and testing, interfacing with suppliers and internal software and testing teams to deliver robust medical devices.

You should have a Master's in Physics or Electrical Engineering and 3+ years in a related role, with embedded systems, Matlab/Python scripting, and Linux expertise to investigate complex issues.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
• At least 3 years as scientist, system engineer or designer in medical field preferred.
• Strong affinity with optics, mechatronics, electronics and software.
• Hands-on experience with embedded systems and Matlab/Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Explore design, integration, testing and debugging of components.
• Collaborate with partners to scale production of pathology scanners.
• Perform systematic debugging, define next steps and present conclusions.
• Develop and maintain software tools for development, testing or manufacturing.
