How do you make our customers happy?

Establish strategic partnerships with international e-commerce service providers to connect our 13.7 million customers to an even wider range of quality products. We already work with 47,000 seller partners that collectively represent approximately 60% of our platform sales. International vendors can unlock significant new opportunities to enrich our assortment and strengthen our competitive position. As Partnership Growth Manager, you’ll build and scale relationships with integrators, agencies, and service providers that connect their seller clients to bol. Your primary focus is the French market, where your fluency in French, commercial acumen, and cultural insight will accelerate our initiative to onboard valuable sellers. The result? Customers discover additional products they love, and partners enter a new phase of sustainable growth.

The biggest challenge

Scaling a B2B2C partnership model in markets where relationships, trust, and cultural nuance are critical success factors. You won’t be in direct contact with merchants. You’ll inspire e-commerce service providers to promote bol to their seller networks. How can you motivate integrator sales teams that already work with dozens of platforms? How can you position bol as their preferred Dutch entry point when larger marketplaces dominate mindshare? And how can you realize growth ambitions while maintaining quality standards across thousands of sellers? Success requires the strategic acumen to identify high-value partners, particularly in France, the commercial skills to build win‑win relationships, and the resourcefulness to create processes that scale sustainably.

What you’ll do

You’ll join a brand-new team, where you’ll pioneer our international partnership growth strategy with the French market as your primary playing field. Your mission is twofold: activate existing e-commerce service partners more effectively and identify new partners to rapidly build out our international seller network. This is a hands‑on, entrepreneurial role where you’ll write the playbook as you go. Your primary focus is on inspiring and enabling integrators and agencies to promote bol to their clients. Through joint webinars, training sessions, and seller events, you’ll position bol as their preferred gateway to the Benelux market.

You’ll also develop an infrastructure to support these partnerships. This includes establishing processes for lead qualification, onboarding, and performance tracking. You’ll work with internal teams in International New Business Development, Ecosystem, Partner Service, and B2B Marketing to ensure partners have all the tools, knowledge, and assistance they require. As you build momentum, you’ll identify and cultivate new partnerships with service providers who can unlock additional international markets. Your commercial instinct will guide decisions about which partnerships we should invest in and how we structure collaborations to maximize mutual growth.

  • Activate and inspire international e-commerce service providers to promote bol, with a primary focus on the French market
  • Design and deliver joint enablement programs (webinars, trainings, events) that educate international sellers about bol
  • Build long‑term partnerships with integrators and agencies that drive measurable lead generation and revenue growth
  • Create scalable processes to structure and facilitate partner collaboration, from initial engagement to performance optimization
  • Collaborate with international, cross-functional teams to ensure partners have the resources and platform capabilities they require
  • Monitor partnership performance and fine‑tune strategies to maximize commercial outcomes
  • Identify and onboard new strategic service providers that can expand our international reach
Why you can make a difference

You combine a honed commercial drive with knowledge of international e-commerce markets and the cultural fluency to navigate complex relationships. With a bachelor’s or master’s degree and experience in partnership management, business development, or e-commerce operations, you know what motivates service providers and how to structure win‑win collaborations. Fluency in French and English is essential. You communicate persuasively with French‑speaking partners while coordinating seamlessly with Dutch colleagues. You’re comfortable presenting to groups and thrive in ambiguity, building processes and structures where none exist.

You combine strategic prowess with a knack for pragmatic execution, knowing when to dream big and when to focus on details to move partnerships forward. You understand French business culture and can navigate its nuances with confidence, while remaining open to expanding into other European markets as well. Importantly, you embody our leadership behaviors: you develop partners and internal colleagues, obsess over creating value for all ecosystem participants, and focus on long‑term wins rather than short‑term metrics.

3 reasons why this is for you

Ecosystem entrepreneur

You see the big picture of how service provider partnerships can multiply our reach and strengthen the platform for everyone.

Cross‑cultural catalyst

You navigate international business cultures with ease, starting with the French market where your language skills and cultural understanding give you a decisive edge.

Relationship builder

You create structure from ambiguity, developing scalable partnership frameworks and high‑quality relationships that drive results.

Where you’ll work

You’ll join an ambitious new team, laser‑focused on strategically scaling our international partner network. This is a pioneering role in which you’ll co‑shape how we engage international markets, starting with France. You will also contribute directly to our broader international strategy. The work environment combines entrepreneurial freedom with collaborative support. You’ll have the autonomy to experiment and iterate, backed by experienced colleagues who understand the complexity of international partnerships. We set ambitious goals and celebrate every success that brings us closer to them. The setting is professional yet personable; we tackle complex challenges with determination and a sense of humor.
