Job summary

Sligro Food Group is seeking a Packaging Return Associate in the Netherlands to ensure all returned packaging is processed neatly and on time. You will handle crates, kegs, pallets, and roll containers with colleagues, sorting, cleaning, and preparing items for reuse at fixed daytime and early evening shifts.

You will work in a positive team, contribute to safe and efficient workflows, and help maintain a continuous packaging return flow throughout each day.

Responsibilities

• Sort incoming crates, pallets and containers and remove stickers and waste to prepare for reuse.

• Prepare materials for reuse and ensure a smooth packaging return flow with the team.
• Maintain safe, efficient and reliable packaging processes throughout each shift.

What will you do?

As a Packaging Return Associate, you make sure all returned packaging is processed neatly and on time. You and your colleagues receive crates, kegs, pallets and roll containers that come back with our drivers. You sort everything carefully and clean items when needed. After that, you prepare all materials for reuse or return to the Central Distribution Centre. You work fixed hours in a positive team where every day feels different because the flow of packaging never stops.

What are your responsibilities?

You sort all incoming crates, pallets and roll containers. You remove stickers and waste so everything can return clean and ready for reuse. You load packaging for transport back to the Central Distribution Centre and keep the workspace tidy and organised. You create lists of items going back to the central DC and support your team to keep the process safe, efficient and reliable. Together you ensure a smooth packaging return flow every day.

• You receive a salary that matches your experience and the responsibility of the role. The salary goes up to €2,444.52 per month based on 36 hours, excluding holiday allowance and other premiums, so you know exactly where you stand.

What you bring

You enjoy working with your hands and like staying active throughout the day. Experience or education is less important than your motivation and willingness to work. You handle physical tasks well and stay accurate even when a lot of packaging comes in at once. You speak enough Dutch or English to work smoothly with colleagues and drivers. You have a positive attitude and enjoy working together to get the job done.
