• Develop and coordinate delivery and shipment plans for outbound road and sea transport.
• Align shipment schedules with stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries.
• Manage product demand, stock levels, and service performance with affiliate markets.
• Create and manage container bookings for sea freight and external loading points.
• Prepare, review, and maintain all required shipping and export documentation.
• Process and maintain logistics transactions within SAP and related systems.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and import/export requirements.
• Monitor in-transit shipments and communicate updates across the supply chain.
• Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and 3PL providers.
• Support cost optimization initiatives related to transportation and demurrage costs.
• Escalate issues and drive resolution; participate in end-to-end improvements.

About the Role

We are seeking an Outbound Logistics Coordinator to join a leading international FMCG organization. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating road and sea freight shipments from the Veghel site to over 100 countries worldwide. You will ensure efficient transport planning, accurate shipping documentation, and seamless collaboration with markets, factories, carriers, 3PL partners, and internal supply chain teams.

This position is ideal for a logistics professional or high-potential starter who is eager to develop a long-term career within Supply Chain and Logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate delivery and shipment plans for outbound road and sea transport
• Align shipment schedules with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries
• Manage product demand, stock levels, and service performance together with affiliate markets
• Create and manage container bookings for sea freight shipments and external loading points
• Prepare, review, and maintain all required shipping and export documentation
• Process and maintain logistics transactions accurately within SAP and related systems
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, transportation regulations, and import/export requirements
• Monitor in-transit shipments and proactively communicate updates across the supply chain
• Collaborate closely with carriers, freight forwarders, transport control towers, and 3PL providers
• Support cost optimization initiatives related to transportation, handling, and demurrage costs
• Escalate logistics issues promptly and drive effective problem resolution
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across end-to-end supply chain operations

Who We're Looking For

• HBO/Bachelor degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization abilities
• Service-oriented mindset with strong customer focus
• Fluent Dutch and English, both written and spoken
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic international environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude
• Ambition to grow and further develop within Supply Chain and Logistics

Preferred

• Experience in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, Shipping, Export, or Distribution environments
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
• Knowledge of international road and sea freight processes
• Experience with import/export documentation and compliance requirements
• Experience working with logistics service providers, freight forwarders, and carriers
• Background within FMCG, Manufacturing, Food Production, or Distribution environments
• Understanding of inventory management and transportation planning processes
