You will act as the key interface between logistics, quality assurance, engineering, and external partners, ensuring consistent implementation of global standards at site level.

The position combines quality systems ownership, validation oversight, and operational logistics support, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and inspection readiness. You will work in a highly regulated, international environment with exposure to global stakeholders and strategic initiatives.

This is a hands‑on, site‑based role with high impact on compliance, operational excellence, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain logistics‑related GMP quality systems in alignment with corporate and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure consistent interpretation and implementation of quality manuals (QMs) and global operating procedures (GOPs).
  • Monitor quality system performance and generate trend and evaluation reports.
  • Oversee GMP documentation and data integrity within logistics systems (e.g. SAP, MES).
  • Act as point of contact for compliance topics, audits, and global initiatives.
  • Support and oversee third‑party activities, including suppliers and contractors.
  • Conduct risk and gap assessments and ensure effective CAPA implementation.
  • Maintain inspection readiness across logistics operations.
Operational Excellence & Projects
  • Lead and contribute to continuous improvement and productivity initiatives (e.g. 6S).
  • Support logistics teams in process optimisation and data‑driven improvements.
  • Provide operational support during technology transfers.
  • Manage logistics‑related projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and GMP compliance.
  • Define technical requirements and contribute to feasibility studies and budgeting.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation and specifications.
  • Issue URS for new equipment and investments.
Quality & HSE
  • Promote a strong quality culture in collaboration with QA.
  • Support implementation and continuous improvement of HSE standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and internal policies.
Profile

  • Minimum 2+ years experience in a GMP‑regulated manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Strong experience in quality systems, validation, or compliance within pharma/biotech.
  • Good understanding of GMP regulations and multi‑authority requirements.
  • Experience with logistics execution systems (e.g. SAP, MES).
  • Strong project management and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a cross‑functional, international environment.
  • Structured, detail‑oriented, and quality‑driven approach.
  • Strong technical and analytical mindset.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Team player with ability to influence and drive change.
  • High level of accuracy and compliance awareness.
  • Adaptable, organised, and able to work under pressure.
