Job summary

Xcede seeks an experienced OT Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen the security and resilience of Operational Technology environments in line with NIS2. The role involves designing and implementing secure OT architectures across multiple platforms, including instrumentation, safety, and subsea control systems.

You will work with engineering, IT, cyber security and operations to ensure practical, high-availability solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering cyber security solutions in OT/ICS environments.
• Strong understanding of NIS2 and its application to critical infrastructure.
• Experience designing secure OT network architectures and segmentation.
• Hands-on experience implementing OT monitoring or IDS solutions, preferably Nozomi Networks.
• Experience centralising security logs from OT platforms.
• Knowledge of applying OT security standards (IEC 62443, ISO 27001).

Responsibilities

• Consolidate and standardise OT networks across platforms.
• Assess OT environments and design secure, resilient OT architectures.
• Ensure OT systems & controls comply with NIS2 and industry standards.
• Produce User Requirement Specifications for OT cyber security solutions.
• Implement an OT intrusion detection system (Nozomi Networks).
• Centralise collection and monitoring of OT security logs across platforms.
• Implement application whitelisting in OT environments.
• Configure Domain Controllers supporting OT systems securely.
• Identify risks and recommend technical controls and remediations.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, cyber security and operations stakeholders.
• Produce technical designs, security docs and implementation guidance.
