Job summary

Our client, Lidl, is looking for order pickers to join their team in the Netherlands! Lidl is a global discount supermarket chain based in Germany, with over 11,000 stores across 30+ countries. Known for its no-frills approach, Lidl offers high-quality products at low prices, focussing on private labels. The company prioritises efficiency, sustainability, and reducing its environmental impact.

Candidates rotate across various departments – flexibility is essential. Department assignments are determined weekly by the company and must be followed as scheduled.

Departments

• HR/Dock (Ambient: 12–15°C) – Collecting bulk items (pallet/collie) – Preparing outbound orders – Hours: 07:30 – 16:30
• AGF – Fruit & Vegetables (Evening Shift) – Collecting fresh produce – Work until orders are complete (end time varies) – Hours: Starting at 17:00
• Refrigeration (4 degrees !) – Within this department, you collect refrigerated products by 'pick-by-voice'. – Working hours: 07.30-16.30h (8h/day)
• Optional: Freezer (minus 25 degrees) – Within this department, you will collect frozen products by pick-by-voice. – Working hours (108%): 07.30-16.30h

Safety and Workwear

Work shoes are mandatory at all times – no shoes = no work.

Onboarding includes safety training and mentoring.

• First 2 weeks: Red vest required (indicates new employee)
• After 2 weeks: Company T-shirts provided and mandatory

The starting salary for this position is €15.31, including AVD (and additional shift allowances).

This full-time position requires working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, throughout the year, with no holiday at Christmas.

Requirements
