Job summary

Lidl in Weert, the Netherlands, is hiring order-pickers for its cold storage facility. You will operate an electric pallet truck, use a voice-picking system, and ensure orders are accurate and properly prepared for delivery.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a demanding environment at -25°C and six days a week. A CV in English is required, and occasional overtime may be needed; you'll receive thermal gear and structured onboarding.

Our client, Lidl, is looking for order-pickers to join their team in Weert, the Netherlands! Lidl is a global discount supermarket chain with over 11,000 stores across 30+ countries. Known for its no-frills approach, Lidl offers high-quality products at low prices, focusing on private labels. The company prioritises efficiency, sustainability, and reducing its environmental impact.

Main Responsibilities

• Order picking using an electric pallet truck;
• Order picking with a voice system;
• Checking orders for accuracy, including quantity and defects;
• Preparing orders for delivery by stacking them and wrapping pallets in plastic;
• Working in a consistently cold environment (-25°C)Working 6 days a week, as scheduled (Monday to Sunday)Other related tasks.

The hourly rate includes an ADV allowance.

This role involves physically demanding work in a freezing environment, with temperatures down to -20 degrees, and requires 40 hours of work per week, from Monday to Saturday, all year long, with no holiday at Christmas.
